So, I finally decided to stop lurking and create an account. I'm so happy to see so many familiar accounts!

If given the chance, I'd lose my legs all over again to serve in our great military.

The leader of your party is a five-time draft dodger who has fired more Veterans than any other president in our history.

Square that circle then tell me who really hates our military.

All of the Clinton-era conservative pearl clutching about the sanctity of the White House and the Democrats’ disrespect seems like it’s from another world now.

There was a whole scandal because Al Gore made fundraising calls from inside the building. They investigated the Clintons’ cat!
I'm old enough to remember when Republicans claimed to believe that the White House was such sacred space that getting a blow job in the Oval Office was grounds to remove a president from office.

Headline took my breath away
Add Cincinnati to the rapidly expanding list of cities where homeless students sleep in parking lots because their families can't afford a place to live.

Terrifying. An Associated Press investigation found more than 420 bills attacking longstanding public health protections such as vaccines, milk safety and fluoride have been introduced in statehouses across the US so far this year. Around 30 bills in 12 states have already been enacted or adopted.

People really need to wrap their heads around HOW ATTENUATED our election cycles have gotten.

They're acting like the Maine primary was a race between Platner and Mills only and it's too late for anyone else to jump in.

The deadline to REGISTER FOR IT is in MARCH!

Go out and recruit SOMEONE ELSE

If the National Guard is really in D.C. to protect federal
property, they should probably have been at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. two days ago

If you have not yet posted about Jeff Merkley holding the floor now for OVER 20 HOURS, stop what you’re doing and post something.

Most people don’t know this is happening and it is on us to make sure they do!

Chris Murphy: "There's a lot of history that has taken place in the East Wing & it was just destroyed without any conversation in the public, without any consent of Congress. It's absolutely illegal. That visual is powerful b/c you're watching destruction of the rule of law as those walls come down"

Brooklyn friends, especially Bushwick and parts of Ridgewood, please keep an eye out for my friend’s dog Penny who ran away last night ❤️
If you start when kids are young, it'll work. When my kids were little, they regularly screamed "turn around, don't drown" when we saw water on the road. Every puddle was a teachable moment.

From 1965 through 2017 when Obama made a deal with Cuba in his last days in office, Cubans on U.S. soil could not be deported to Cuba. There are senior citizens ordered deported in the 1970s who are still here decades after serving their time. Now Trump is dumping some of them in Mexico.
Cubans with criminal records in the U.S. are being quietly deported to Mexico
The Trump administration is quietly sending hundreds of Cubans and other immigrants with significant criminal records in buses across the border to Mexico, in an expansion of third-country deportation...

I took a similar class in the late 80s and think about it more than I ever expected to! Same with my abnormal psych course!

“Don’t believe those notices from your insurance companies informing you of your premiums tripling, that’s just Democratic propaganda.”
Mike Johnson shamelessly lies: "We strengthened Medicaid. We improved healthcare access and we lowered premiums with our legislation."

But it gets worse. According to the New York Times, the DOJ does not “require a public announcement of settlements made for administrative claims before they become lawsuits.”

That means the DOJ could pay Trump $230 million in complete secrecy.

🚨@merkley.senate.gov is STILL speaking on the Senate floor. I’m about to join him there to call out this authoritarian president who refuses to open the government and is betraying the American people at every turn.

In a marathon floor speech unfolding in the US Senate, Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR) argues Trump's use of pardon power is a component of authoritarianism
