Serious answer, Gino Bartali. He hid passport documents for Jews and messages to the Italian resistance inside the tubes of his bicycle when he was training for the Tour and Giro.

Absolutely no contest this should go to the tiny, ancient Italian woman I once saw rock up all four feet ten of herself to the Italian deli counter where she proceeded to elaborately curse out the young man working there (he had to lean over to see her) for not having any roasted eggplant.

Guglielmo Marconi

Without him there is no wireless anything

Give that ten seconds thought and realise how very, very different your life would be then. No radio. No television. No cell phone. No wireless internet. No wireless MOUSE. The world would be simply unrecognisable.

Rest in Power, Miss Major.💔

On solidarity: “We can’t go it alone… I mean, you can try, and get knocked down and get up and try again, and get knocked down and get up and try again. But that’s how it’ll be, until somebody helps you up and says, let me stand with you.”

Discord autocorrected puns to pins.
Discord officially uncool, doesn't like groaners.

Also, I'm sick of text boxes changing actual words. Sure, guestimate something that's globbity gook, but this happens too much to not be a dictionary problem. It's (incorrectly may I add) guessing context.

You know, maybe big business is right, we should go back into the office - I have shot significantly less nerf guns in the last few years.
Definitely a decrease in decreasing of my productivity.

Anyway, for no reason whatsoever, here's your reminder to read more banned books.

bookshop.org/lists/must-r...
Against a purple background, a stack of banned books—including All Boys Aren't Blue, Beloved, Gender Queer, and The Handmaid's Tale—with the word BANNED on each book's spine, partially obscuring the title.

Text:

Join Bookshop.org and We Need Diverse Books in fighting against Banned Books. Use code BBW25 for 20% off* Banned & Challenged Books.

*Valid 10/05-10/19. Discount off lists prices, excluding Ebooks.

I can't believe Rob Weiland is gone.

You might not have known him BUT: read a Forbes rpg article, enjoy Star Trek Adventures, love the Fate games scene, or watch/attend charity games at cons? That's just a small piece of his impact.

He was also wonderful human being who will be missed horribly.

I was frantically looking for my bagels in the microwave for nearly a minute it felt... until I remembered they were in the toaster.
You know, that place, where you toast bagels.

It's just one of those days.
