It wasn't. It was the very definition of a hostile environment for refugees.

The reason it was "kinder" transport was because hate was whipped up against adults fleeing Nazi Germany. 1/2

Something I find striking about Zach Polanski is how - unlike the vast majority of those who played a key role in Corbynism - his politics are so clearly not rooted in any kind of deeper analysis or intellectual tradition. It's all just a surface-level synthesis of 2010s left-wing slogans and memes.

Because I am professionally required to be depressed, I should point out that this means;

- Building able to withstand around 40 degree heat
- 2 degrees by 2050 does not mean 'done', anything to last beyond 2050 needs to be much better adapted
