Seasons 8-11 take place in another alternative universe. After going sideways into a fascist Earth in Inferno, the Doctor has another go and ends up on a warm cuddly Earth where soldiers have long hair and make tea all day and the Brigadier is a daft twat. For some reason he decides to stay there.

I read the novelisations of the Star Wars, Empire and Jedi before I saw the films. But would I do that now, if tv tie-in books were still a thing? Is the tv tie-in book now so worthless that I now feel I would be cheating on a movie by learning its plot before seeing the film?

Just learned that Drew Struzan, arguably the GOAT of movie poster artists, has passed away. He created so many legendary posters, but my favorite will always be the one he did for the 20th Anniversary of BLADE RUNNER.
