That's a very contentious fact anyway. First CGI to pass off as something real is probably the starfield at the end of ST2. The Genesis demo is just a computer simulation. There's also computer simulations in Westworld, Andromeda Strain and (I think) Colossus around a decade earlier. My opinion only

These people need to be corrected... But try that and you tend to get brushed off as an upright old got for whom the content wasn't aimed at Would love a podcast that blows open the errors and myths of classic Doctor Who lore. I'd listen to that.

I've heard of a number of instances of so-called influencers getting huffy when told they can't have a freebie of an expensive high end collectors item to "unbox" on their social media channel.

Nothing surprises me about some Doctor Who fans these days. The entitlement is off the scale with some of them. They'll be demanding freebie DVDs sent to them to "react" to on their YouTube channels next. 🙄

Am I the only person who thinks the new trailer for Star Trek: Starfleet Academy looks like it's one of those fanciful AI generated pseudo trailers that pollute social media so much these days. The characters, the colours, the FX shots, the fact that we are supposed to believe it's a real show... 🤔
