My two cents on that AI tool to format papers: I do not think anyone should be using AI to format anything but, most importantly, the website doesn't show who owns it or how it is done and it says "hehe we pwomise we won't store your dwata hehe". Do with that what you may 🧪

Seriously, Pistons...

The fastest way to Long Cövid is exercise and exertion within the first 6-8 weeks...

I see those with plenty of organ injury and ample regrets.

I'm here to educate and caution. I've long given up on trying to persuade...

My 10 cents 🤷🏻‍♂️

The image showcases the interior of a glass-domed and metal structure, the royal greenhouses of Brussels. The framework is painted a verdant green, creating a striking grid pattern against the backdrop of the sky visible through the glass panes. The design is ornate, with curved lines converging towards the center of the dome. The clear sky is visible through the panes. The architecture is elegant, showcasing a historical structure.

"Geoengineering is inevitable; we better start preparing for it" and "AI is inevitable, we better start preparing for it" seem to both have extremely similar vibes.

In both cases, it *does not matter* whether something is inevitable. What matters is how its controlled, minimised and regulated

Drilled was asked to promote a new pro-nuclear book. When we found it contained a conspiracy alleging the oil industry funded environmental groups to kill the nuclear industry -- and that it didn't stack up -- it turned into an investigation.

New from me in @drilledmedia.bsky.social:
Isabella Boemeke Isn’t Trying to Spread Conspiracy Theories in her New Pro-Nuclear Book, But She Is
Pro-nuclear influencer Isabelle Boemeke’s new book, Rad Future, indulges in conspiracy theories, unsourced claims, and personal attacks against the industry’s critics.

In 99% of cases, we wouldn't include someone's spouse or family member as part of a story, but given that this book trades in the sort of "abundance vs. scarcity" nonsense the technoratti have embraced, it's relevant to note that the author is married to a co-founder of AirBnB who works for DOGE

Since last fall, sheriffs in MA have been accused of misusing campaign funds (funneling cash to their personal business, one sheriff purchased a $700 course to start a podcast), drunken driving, and extorting a cannabis company, respectively. They have a $162M deficit on their $737.2M annual budget.

“Once rare, 7-year car loans are fast becoming the norm. They’re often the only way buyers can afford new rides, with average sale prices surging 28% in 5 years to approach $50k.”

Designed-in car dependency, surging car prices, longer loan periods with more interest.

Sound like “freedom” to you?

The Spectator (owned by GBNews owner Paul Marshall - estimated wealth of £800 million) doesn’t like taxing wealth fairly.

I wonder how they got to this editorial decision?

Let’s tax wealth fairly, fund front line services & make hope normal again.

Columbus bragged in letters about raping 9-year-old girls & selling them into slavery.

So of course, Trump is using him to replace Indigenous Peoples' Day,
calling Columbus the "first American hero."

Maybe he can rename it, Trump-Epstein-Columbus Day. #ReleaseTheEpsteinFiles

Racism, conquest, extractive and exploitative trade, rape; all of these have always been live moral questions. There was never a moment of enlightenment where human progress allowed people to finally see that they were wrong. There have always been those saying that it was wrong.
