The only one I notice is the jump ball, really. Secret Rings could get pretty covered in effects with the right (or wrong) equips so it seems pretty normal to me.

I've whined about Secret Rings Reignition feeling too easy since they adapted all the motion control. I dunno how new this feature is, but they let you turn the charge jump back on from the Wii game and it feels better. It's just not Secret Rings unless its a little awkward.

A lot of people are talking about how movies are "a culture" and video games aren't, and that's why Miyamoto is talking about Nintendo shifting towards film.

What if it's because their barebones, overpriced, limited time remasters of 3D Mario games just didn't sell very well?

This is a big indicator of a culture shift in the wake of Iwata's death. Nintendo as a company was frugal to a fault. Blue ocean strategy and all that.

Now the company that never lowers prices, never sells at a loss, is saying "games aren't enough because they aren't forever money."
