#underexposure
another dramatic underexposure from last night.

It could be the nostalgia talking, but I feel like skate vids from the 80s/90s with their underexposure and oversaturation have such a specific, painterly almost abstract vibe.

It's a tough time of year to shoot in Michigan. Underexposure comes for us all.

People don't wanna hear it but a little over/underexposure and good motion blur can add so much

I love how Doms are the perfect balance between silly-looking and actually menacing

Not sure what's gonna make me turn off the Blue-White Game first, the shitty lighting/underexposure, or the inane commentators acting like the score matters more than naming players whomst we've never seen before. My dudes the coach is standing in the middle of the court, it's not that deep

Made warmer by underexposure.

Honestly thought all of my photos from this day were rubbish due to underexposure (had an issue with my viewfinder/display screen) and lack of stability due to having to take my old tripod with me and not my sturdy new one. I was so disappointed when I got back and looked at things on my laptop 1/3

Overexposure can create a dreamy, ethereal quality, while underexposure a more mysterious or dramatic vibe. 🖤🤍

It's underexposure to Black radicalism that causes nonblack bluesky users to think certain kinds of discussions are a big deal.

illumination maps generated by SLLIE, LIAR further incorporates two illumination-aware components: 2D Illumination-guided Sampling (2D-IGS) and 3D Illumination-driven Projection (3D-IDP), to respectively tackle local underexposure and overexposure. [4/7 of https://arxiv.org/abs/2505.20641v1]

For real, it's not cheap! The first roll I shot was chewed up by the camera when I tried to wind it back into the canister. Then my second and third rolls were light leak and underexposure galore! Finally started to get it down by my fourth roll 💀

beautiful use of underexposure!

Nikita Bulgaria - Sauna Teaser

With the only one Bulgarian model I've met, made a few visuals, for example this sensual sauna set. I have used ambient lighting with a high ISO setting and underexposure which resulted in a pleasurable digital grain.

Does anyone know the technical answer as to why a Canon AE-1 may return an Underexposure Error in the light meter/f-stop indicator when using 3600 ISO and slow shutter speeds. You'd think it'd be shown in the Overexposure zone, right?

A shitty flower photo. The drabness and distance goes against the cliche of bright colors in close-up.

I didn't compensate for the white background, but I kind of like the underexposure this time. Sony DSC-W1.

Changing exposure is half of the equation. To compensate for underexposure, the film is given extra development time to “push” the highlights back to a usable density. Without the extra dev time, the film hasn’t been pushed, just purposefully underexposed.

From what I've heard the TTArtisan meter isn't as good as a Gossen or Sekonic, but I like the kinda analog feel, and it should be ballpark accurate for most films that aren't like slide film.

Hey, #BelieveInFilm and #MenderRevealParty friends... I've got a conundrum for you. Anyone know about the Minolta X-700? The light meter is wildly underexposing - the underexposure arrow is always blinking at the bottom of the LED column. I replaced the bottom capacitor, but that didn't fix it. :-(
