The other remark I remember related to her, was when Steve Martin was doing a guest shot on the Tracy Ullman show, he was having a conversation with Tracy and when he found out they wouldn't be sleeping together he became outraged, called his agent & said 'cancel my guest shot on murder she wrote.'

She absolutely kills it in The Manchurian Candidate. Sinatra famously said 'I thought she was a lady but after watching her performance I knew she was all broad.' translated into less vernacular language Sinatra's point was you better come prepared because she's a hell of an actress.

Except it consciously chooses to forgo the language that is more faithfully near the discourse of rape & instead opts for' imperial power'. He (Mendelssohn ) has also made the criticisms of recent translations of the Aenid and the Metamorphoses. 15 generations of women as chattel is not enough.
