listen my advice for learning to make comics is will. always be: try. it won't be good. don't expect it to be. that's not why you're doing it. I don't care if you wanna do art or scripts or editing or colors or lettering or what. just try it. you'll be BLOWN AWAY at what just TRYING it teaches you

They cast the characters to sound a little cartoony, filled the scripts with jokes, and toned back any subject matter deemed too mature / inappropriate for the U.S. target demo. They made sure to fill any potential silence with synth/metal/rock music, along with filler dialogue.

Star Trek has always been political. On The Lieutenant, Gene Roddenberry's series before Trek, scripts on racial bigotry and the inhumanity of warfare met network censorship. GR designed ST to use s-f allegory to tell stories that wouldn't otherwise be allowed on network TV.

Spent the last few weeks on python scripts for my Blender asset workflow.
My characters are hard to maintain -- I have:
* "raw" meshes I iterate on
* "final" meshes I animate in Blender
* "unreal" meshes for export to Unreal
A change used to take hours, now I convert in 1 click!

When does the Apprentice President series end? It seems like its episodes & scripts are repetitive. The star of the show is too predictable & hard to watch, especially when he forgets or stumbles over his words & makes up his own words. He should be fired! 🙄
