In our short e-mail correspondence I thanked Nick for creating Paladin and lamented how there weren't more Hispanic Heroes in the world.

He simply responded by saying "That's because you have create them."

The 1st Killjoy book never would of happened without those words.

A long time ago I did Top 10 Hispanic Heroes video & in it I briefly mentioned Puerto Rican superhero Paladin El Cacique. His creator, Nick Iannone, contacted me to say thanks. Years later I discovered he thanked me in his first trade paperback. Today I got to return the favor.
