CROWNWORLD (Moonstorm series #3) is canceled. I’m very sorry.

Mutually amicable decision between the US publisher (Delacorte), the UK publisher (Solaris Books), and me.

(I’m not in financial distress right now. Don’t worry about me.)

Oh, you're gonna get some actors to come read some of the nation's founding documents? Thrilling, what's next, the return of Public Forum, this time featuring like Ross Douthat and Sonia Sotomayor in conversation at the Delacorte but about Shakespeare's political leanings? Absolute nonsense.

Loneliness is a plague to be conquered in Kurt Vonnegut’s Slapstick, or Lonesome No More – first published today in 1976 by Delacorte. Vonnegut uses the musings of the fictional Dr. Wilbur Daffodil-11 Swain to explore why institutions, like religion, fall short in easing personal isolation.

I wish the author would continue the fun and make this a series. The most fun I’ve had reading in quite awhile.

check that: He and Neal McDonough have been cast as Antipholus for "The Comedy of Errors" at the Delacorte this summer.
Looks like he’s auditioning for the lead in a Rob Ford biopic
back in like 2014 wikipedia's only freely licensed photo of Nick Offerman was from the two weeks he was blond and people hated it so much they basically decided it was better to have no photo

I got to see Andre Braugher in Henry V at the Delacorte in 1996, and he was jawdroppingly magnetic. That he could also be Raymond Holt on Brooklyn Nine Nine? What an actor. What a loss.

Last night at NYC’s Delacorte Theater, the artistic director thanked all federal and state workers, describing us as “some of the most idealistic people on the planet” and acknowledging the wide-ranging attacks in recent months. I felt seen, for just a moment.

...Sixty-plus years after Papp first smuggled Shakespeare into the park, the Delacorte emerged from its renovation as a theater simultaneously new and timeless, ready once again to deliver blank verse to the open air.
