Wait, even though your job is *gestures* this is your first one? Whaaa
Thank you for reading my contribution to the pasta discourse.
Now. Have you ever looked at a spaghetti dish and gone: these fucks have left the angel hair to soak for six hours, look at it, it's bloated!

Because I have. Because I vastly prefer angel hair and reject standard girth spaghetti.

Don't worry, farafalle pasta - *I* appreciate you.
Oh damn, those are some good word thoughts
Speaking of, mask selfie at work! Here I am on break trying on my wearable mockup of the artist apron dress.
So glad to have internet friends who mask so I know I'm not alone in this.
Yay medical boredom! So much better than medical excitement!

Fun fact!

Louie is such a soft boy that the last time he was handed to a vet tech she exclaimed in delight at how soft he was.

The fur around his neck and ears is of ultimate softness.
Oh yeah, I was profoundly not in the first wave (or two) - no home internet.
20 years ago today was a big day.
We have now retired to our beds, Louie's internal clock is pleased.
I do think single layer might juuust give me the advantage I need.

Oooh, so I'd thought about shortening the skirt to reduce its width but not pivoting the edge. Oh ho ho!
OR

I can change skirt and bodice patterns and do an entirely different make.

Maybe even revisit the Maria pattern.
OR
I can change skirt patterns and keep the wrap/apron bodice because it's the wrap skirt's overlaped part that consumes hecka fabric and a gathered or pleated rectangle would be a more efficent use of yardage.
Compromise??? But I don't want to.

I don't have the recommended fabric yardage AND my dinosaur cookies all have their feet pointing in on direction which hobbles my pattern piece placement if I want them to be all right-way up.

I need to sew on spare pieces from scrap to make up the gaps...
I need everyone to know that I am doing a art heist themed escape room in november and the Louvre heist has been particularly entertaining because of that.

Tempted to add 'really tall ladder' to escape room, except the youths are NOT ALLOWED TO CLIMB THINGS.
