While Washington stages a shutdown, the Education Dept is quietly approving IBR loan cancellations. After 20+ years of payments this is relief you earned, not a handout — Congress and courts created the chaos, borrowers shouldn't be punished for it. https://letsgetreach.com

Why Do 30-Year Mortgages Exist Anymore?
David Andrukonis defends the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage as if prepayment and the “time value of money” are equalizers (Letters, Oct. 13). They aren’t. Borrowers can prepay only if they have the cash. That’s tough, as 57% of Americans say they feel…

That’s tough, as 57% of Americans say they feel financially strapped. When home values collapse, as they did in 2008, many Americans found themselves $100,000 underwater. To refinance into a lower rate, they would have had to bring cash to the closing table.

Yesterday one of our borrowers was saying they wished they had a cargo bike for some specific errands they need to run this week.
The they remembered to check if we had a bike available to book- & we did!
Cargo bike libraries & on demand bike share help more people swap car trips for bike trips.

I test ride one of these Bunch Bikes. It has enormous power. I don’t need this big box usually though for me but a great choice for families. But a rental or bike libraries would be incredible.
Many parents are now are forgoing minivans for greener alternatives: cargo bikes. They have been around for decades, but the advent of the electric bike motor has made them much more popular. n.pr/3WJyZn9
