I accidentally bought a dilemma at the surplus place. Saw this cool meter that I thought was just a broken D'arsonval movement type where the needle broke off in handling. Well I was half right, its movement is broken but it's actually a mirror galvanometer!!

I can’t shake the feeling that SNWs has been put together by an ammeter dramatics group. It’s obvious that the cast are having a great time, but no one has stopped to ask what the audience is meant to be taking away from it. Everything feels vapid and surface level.

I found chatgpt pretty good but still do stuff by hand, including using DMM(or ammeter) if I must. But I def think they should try it with narrow applications first like solving a math problem, but after mastering the topic or methods (To be good enough to spot any flaws). LLMs req peer reasoning

As someone who is an ammeter historian of this subject I was pretty baffled by that article as the guy has done history but that article is weird as all get out with constant claims of erased history that has not been erased. I had lots of things I could have said but arguing here is pointless lol

Latest Pixel 4a nonsense - if you let the phone get down to 0%, it might decide to not charge and sit for hours on the charger only responding with "0%" on the screen. Plugging and unplugging on a charger with ammeter shows it starting at 1A but then dropping to very low current.
