I’m basically someone who gets into shows in their second season when someone who watches more TV than I do goes “you should watch X”, there seem to be quite a lot of people like me, and I’m just not convinced there is a future for TV on the current attrition rate.

iceman is an omega level mutant and honestly has some of the most broken powers not just in the X-men, but in comics in general.

The problem IMO isn’t “associate attrition.” It’s a model that trains 3-4 lawyers for every one you plan to keep long-term. 6/x

I get the whole "leave your comfort zone" thing, but #bluesky is me doing exactly that. I left X and FB after many years, because they turned into wars of apathetic attrition, and I was too comfortable with it. To any still wandering those toxic wastelands, what are you getting out of it, really?

You seem to be overlooking UKR's own increased attrition, which last summer showed they're unable to sustain in their failed effort. Again, much of the critical western armor and equipment necessary for an offensive is either in very limited supply...

I see a lot of people talking about attrition on X. I’d like to see more businesses on anything other than Meta (especially Instagram). Being forced to use it just so I can see where your food truck is located today is annoying. I am a small box owner so I get it, but I’d love to delete the app.

The media is definitely overthinking the 2024 election based on exit polls and vibes rather than viewing real results. The national swing and many of the uniform swings matched the party ID shift from 2020 to 2024 (D+4 to R+2). suggests a lot of persuasion losses via attrition, not "the Dems did X"

i hate to have one of these at all but my big "WE DRANK FROM THE HOSE" opinion is that people younger than millennials really can't imagine what coming of age in a time of media scarcity meant - like, I would read about records and movies and not actually be able to see them for YEARS

TIE Fighter basically becomes a shooting gallery once the Advanced and then the Defender get introduced.

Logging some flight hours in the simulator. In Cassian’s defense, the TIE Advanced controls are a little clunky—this thing handles like it's mapped to a 1994 joystick with a sticky Z-axis.

I’ll never get the “no increase more than X% of current salary” mindset even when for current role. You’re trying to retain the employee against the marketplace - if they’re that underpaid, refusing to fix it is a big ol’ attrition risk. Then you’ll have to pay it anyway while losing the tenure!
