So I connected my Retrobit 64 to my PC and played some games on Project 64 again (Yes, I know it's not the best emulator, shush).
I had forgotten just how absolutely mental BattleTanx is. The story for it is goofy as all hell and rather dark. Gameplay wise, it's actually quite nice. Very arcadey.

I have one of the retrobit ones that mimics the hori pad N64 controller. It's Fine (and clearly the prototype for the gamecube controller), but like all 3rd parties seem to get the analogue stick wrong IMO.

Having tried M30, Retrobit Saturn and Megadrive, and Retroflag, I think the 8bitdo is my favorite, but I haven't played any for a very long period of time.

the peach amiibo seems very load-bearing. also do you have all these fuckers plugged in at once because that'd be very unsafe.

I have the Saturn mouse but the console is a bit too far for the cord to reach me, so I am roughin' it with the D pad with a retrobit wireless controller. So know your pain!

There are two problems with the competition pro one the lower set of triggers are too small and top set too big. Like making them convex and concave helps a lot. I want to actually hold the retrobit one before buying tbh lol

do u mean the retrobit one? i got one around this time last year & it instantly became my fave controller that I use like 90% of the time. i wish i could remap the C+Z to whatever I want instead of them being L+R alts & i dont like the Select button placement but those are small annoyances

Decided that the Safehouse neets a Retrobit Super Retro Trio HD console. plays genesis, snes, and NES games. Throw in adapters and it can do master system and gameboy and gameboy color. Something is lost using just emulators.
