Think my biggest disconnect with people who still shill/watch 4kids/saban dubs is like. Do you not feel lied to?? There's just this inherent loss of trust I felt as early as when I was a teenager finding out about the original, and discovering how much I had been missing

I did genuinely enjoy a good chunk of this game, but the level quality can be kinda uneven, dropping costumes is infuriating, etc. That final boss is terrible.

This game is..fascinatingly messy. Its complete mismatch with target audiences, the lolcowification of Yuji Naka leading to rampant misinformation about the game, all for a very basic 3d platformer that is ALMOST THERE to being an easy vibes game but is just barely too frustrating

I did genuinely enjoy a good chunk of this game, but the level quality can be kinda uneven, dropping costumes is infuriating, etc. That final boss is terrible.

I always think about how the reason why the show is so incoherent is because episode scripts were written in very little time by apparently amateur writers that Ben Hurst had to patch up the scripts for. So there's episodes that feel totally disconnected from the premise and paced awfully
i really don't think any Sonic adaptation is gonna come anywhere near as close as Sonic Underground in terms of "the most un-Sonic official Sonic thing that exists for some reason". i brought this up yesterday but it literally ends with Sonic becoming a domestic terrorist. they never find their mom.
