ive decided to prototype tons of alternate abilities for Jumper solely because i really enjoy making them. I'm up to 6 so far:
red - double jump
green - grapple
pink - hover
yellow - lightning
blue - boomerang
orange - rocket
red - double jump

Q: would you feel weird about Ogmo's pronouns being it/its? Originally (back in 2004 when I made the first Jumper game) this was their pronouns. I've been leaning toward they/them this time but I'm curious about the implications of it/its pronouns considering the dehumanizing history of their usage

the button mapping for Jumper is a bit odd-
B: jump, Y: air-jump, R: duck (nintendo button terminology)
putting duck on a trigger and separating air jump into its own button are not intuitive but I think ultimately once the player internalizes it, it allows more precise & expressive control
