GOOD NEWS: Earlier this year the requirement for US hospitals to report key COVID data to the federal government ended.

1000s of activists submitted comments to CMS, & now hospitals will be required to report key COVID, flu, & RSV data again outside of public health emergencies.

Advocacy works!

Although RSV & HMPV are closely related viruses, we found differences in the clinical features of adults with HMPV patients presenting with more flu-like symptoms & viral pneumonia. Peripheral🩸 gene expression of hospitalized HMPV-infected patients also differed vs those hospitalized RSV infections

If these measures were everywhere & indoor pollution was treated with same severity as drinking water pollution, would it still be endemic?

Or would it be endemic like cholera is endemic in US, EU, Canada?

Try putting a reminder on your smartphone, to prompt you to look into something related to your health. It could be as simple as researching vaccines like the ones for HPV, RSV, shingles, or measles. Or a watch that helps monitor your heart. Or that diabetes checkup or mammography you put off.

Y’all. Suddenly my mom is telling me her *recently* worsening health problems might be from having had the COVID vaccine. Not from our shared genetic issue, or the frightful RSV infection she had, or the actual COVID she had, or age-related, or stress-related, no it’s all from her 2021 shot.

Think of all the very vulnerable kids in NB who go to school, or people who have vulnerable family members in their homes. WHO knows how much pain and suffering is related to unchecked spread of influenza and RSV in schools. and Covid and other illnesses. We deserve clean air.
