#F:NV
I am currently digging into the state of the F:NV mod situation because of it

it's such a great time

You know I think bsky might appreciate this one. Ignore the fact that I'm a sentient Malware Vtuber. I'm sure it's not connected to my favorite characters.

I've got Fo3/F:NV and MO2 installed in heroic launcher. I'm trying to launch the game from heroic launcher but it doesn't seem to be working. I have them all in the default prefix. I'm guessing there's some file path weirdness.

Every day I empathize more and more with the toaster from F:NV.

feel like I should say for the record we’ve been planning to do something to celebrate 15 years of new Vegas for about 2 years now - this has absolutely nothing to do with this month’s latest F:NV rumors or the TV Show. I don’t even know what it’ll end up being. But I wanted to film this fan event.
hello from Primm, next stop Goodsprings.

Apparently the show is set in 2296 and F:NV is set in 2281, so he could feasibly turn up 👀

My (probably) unpopular opinion is that survival mechanics work for Fallout 3 a lot better than they do for Fallout New Vegas. In Fallout 3 it’s actually a desperate scramble to have your needs met while for F:NV it’s just kind of a mild nuisance.

Relatedly, the absolute best part of F:NV is that Caesar just straight up tells you this is all Hegel's fault. Caesar thinks he knows what the World-Spirit wants and is gonna create the next stage of human social evolution b/c he overdosed on Hegelian dialectics.

Hegel: never even once.

I never managed to finish F4 but I’m on another (quite slow) F:NV playthrough-and in the same camp regarding the show.

F:NV might be one I allow myself to do again, I 100%'d it but never went back and I think I could still see so much more of it. Probably should actually grab it on PC (Played it on playstation originally)

Still havent found the trans, finished 3 and where's it.

DO I NEED TO PLAY ALL OF THE FALLOUTS TO FIND THE TRANS OF NEW VEGAS??

THIS QUEST ITS DRIVING ME INSANE, I NEED TO KNOW EVERY TRANSWOMAN SECRET WITH THEIR F:NV FANATISM!
Already finished two times New Vegas, where's my trans canon event.

I find a big similarity between F:NV Mojave Wasteland and CP2077's Night City in that, while they certainly differ (nuclear wasteland / dystopian 'wasteland'), both of the games settings basically depict societies which re-built and drastically transformed from their past through catastrophic events

From being a F:NV enjoyer I feel that that it's unfair to badger and harass devs not only because it's bad in and of itself but also as an artist I imagine it feels really terrible to feel like you aren't allowed to move on and work on other things like your own ideas instead of big franchises.

Both 2 & 3 are fairly modern and very playable. 2 is in an interesting spot where it's not bogged down by 90s UI like Fallout 1&2 are but it is still sprawling and complex like a 90s CRPG. 3 is a lot more streamlined. I think most F:NV fans will find a lot to like in either one.

@Soundwizard Definitely. I love video game easter eggs and there are a buch of audio ones in F:NV!

In F:NV Betsy, Veronica and Christine are also bae 🩷

Have you watched the Fallout or Last of Us shows?

I want to continue my playthrough of ME2 but I also want to play F:NV. I hate my crippling addiction to video games

It’s weird being on a new platform where Fallout art isn’t, like. My main thing anymore. Anyway, F:NV AU Avery.

It's not a line you can draw with confidence and more like a trend I think that increases with years. Like last 5-6 years you had a lot of good games but they don't look like they'll age well vis a vis nostalgia value. Like Starfield I feel would be this (as opposed to F:NV or Morrowind or Skyrim).

my brother had a friend who did that at our house, he also fucked up my f:nv disc. i hated him

Just beat the The Lonesome Road expansion for F:NV. It's linear, repetitive, and full of exposition-dumps. Introduces some great concepts, but doesn't explore them enough. A few good environments. The main antagonist has an amazing voice, but (SPOILER) he's just a normal guy with a vendetta.

Recently installed F:NV with the Viva New Vegas modpack. Just played through Old World Blues for the first time. I really loved it. Way better than any of the Fallout 3 expansions. The problems it has are minor. It's an over-the-top romp that cleverly weaves its way into F:NV lore.
