Transport for London Freedom of Information release:
TfL figures from 2017 to 2025 show most embassies pay the congestion charge, but a minority still owe outstanding fees. Saudi Arabia tops the table, followed by Egypt and Qatar.

If you have a respiratory virus, Clor-Hist is amazing for congestion and coughing. Feeling so good, I may be going back to sleep ahortly.

NYC adds congestion charge and sees congestion decrease.

HFX removes congestion charge (bridge tolls) and sees congestion increase.

Why is this market concept, which is the basis of our economy, so difficult to understand?

A lot of congestion is due to really bad flow design, and this endangers pedestrians & cyclists too. The lights sequencing and crossing arrangements at Glengall St / Boyne Bridge Place, for instance, are *awful*. Appreciate this is temporary, but yikes. @niroads.bsky.social

The question on NYC's congestion pricing has quickly moved from "is it working?" to "why isn't my city doing this?"
“Our overall conclusion is that congestion pricing in New York, like many other cities in the world that have implemented it, helped not only improve traffic, but also reduce air pollutant concentration, improve air quality and should be good for public health.”

Belfast the most congested city in the UK. That means the air quality must be pretty bad too for our kids as well as ourselves. If you live in the city please get involved in the Ravenhill cycle route consultation so we can tackle congestion, poor air quality & climate impacts in one go.
Belfast is now the most congested city in the UK. We can do better.

The Ravenhill Road cycle lane consultation is a real opportunity to create safer, cleaner streets. Young people’s voices must be central to this. I’ve asked the DfI to consult with local schools.

Let's build a cleaner Belfast.

I think they'll be fine now Carrick's in and there's no worries on fixture congestion. Definitely worth the bet imho but totally get why you'd disagree!

New Jersey now requires e-bike riders to have licenses and registration. New York needs to figure it out. I’ll say it’s seemed a lot better since congestion pricing. I still think where they put two way bike lanes on one way streets is a bad idea. Now bikes think it’s always two way lanes for them.

Moreover, of that €500 million in externalities, around half are "vehicle externalities" — the social costs of traffic congestion (time wasted sitting in traffic) accidents — which would be just as large if all vehicles in Finland were EVs. They are not a direct result of fuel combustion.
