It is, but as I was saying to Dan @fplchancer.bsky.social the other day, it's (monetised) reach and dopamine which is hard to overlook (fact not critique)

fwiw I think the soul of what made fpl social media good back in the day more seen here: smaller, tighter crowd with no clout chasing morons 😊
