Tea with the Raven King ~ Lisbeth Cheever-Gessaman
A mixed-media artwork steeped in myth, mystery, and archetypal storytelling. It evokes a dreamlike encounter between innocence and ancient wisdom, rendered with poetic symbolism and visual enchantment.

Reading my 6th book off the 2025 Booker longlist & the first to survive to the shortlist 'The Rest of our Lives' by Ben Markovits. Usual author bookmark drawing 😊 Very Cheever/Updike/Munro like, classic American road trip. #BookSky 📚💙 #bookerprize

Just remembered the lit lunch I was at last week where we did fuck / marry / kill with Cheever, Updike, and Roth and there was universal agreement on the correct answer.

#OnThisDay in ’82, in Las Vegas, Michele Alboreto scored his maiden #F1 GP win. Eddie Cheever, exhausted, was 3rd. John Watson, 2nd, just missed out on the world championship: had he won the race, & Keke Rosberg scored no points, he’d have been champion. Yes, that’s Diana Ross!

It was enough to beat his only remaining Championship rival, John Watson, who came home in second to 25-year-old Michele Alboreto to take the title. American Eddie Cheever finished third for Ligier.

Seriously, Turing gets thrown around a lot but Jobs? Van Gogh? Carver, Cheever, Carson, Edison? Read them books and tell me they were all “neurotypical” or whatever we’re calling it now.
