It pmo bc it already has been officially ported to android and chromeos which are both based on linux so celsys COULD do it they just don’t want to

Deleted the last post. Celsys support responded within 2 hours and just straight up removed my install limit for my 2.0 EX license. I am very grateful but still disappointed in having DRM and install limits at all in software I paid for.

Even the virtual machine program is giving me trouble.
I want to like Linux. Maybe if Celsys believed in supporting it, I'd love Linux right now. But because I have to fight with it to get the most important program running...I'm sorta hating it. 🙃

画像サイズをでかくするとラスターがベクターのサイズ追い越したりする
ぱきぱきのアニメ塗り以外だとデータが複雑化するかしかたないけど、いつか、くりすたくんも線画だけじゃなくて塗りもベクターで持てる時代が来るかもしれないね
むかしのスタイロス（CELSYS社のアニメ作画ソフト）は塗りもベクターで持てたので、販促用のキャラデータや、等身大パネルなんかもベクター出力できてよかったんだけどなー
物理ドングル使用だったので、もう起動もできない

The sole reason I’m still using Windows is because Clip Studio Paint. And I would prefer be on Linux. I get it there’s Krita, but I have my solid reasons why I would prefer stick with CSP.
Therefore I kindly ask Celsys to please consider porting it to at least a Debian. Thank you!

idk how niche it is but i maintain and will always maintain my stance that always-on DRM/other license-related snitching should be illegal. it would be unreasonable for Walmart to send someone to my house and demand proof of purchase for a hammer i bought months ago. why is Celsys allowed lol

I really hope that with the end of support for Windows 10, Celsys invests in versions of CSP for Linux. I have to use a Windows emulation software to continue working in CSP, and there are so many things broken 😭
If CSP ever got official Linux support, I'd leave Windows for good, lol

Joe, gracias por tantas interacciones son pocas las veces que termino algo y me gusta y me dio rabia porque ese fue el caso y.y, tengo el archivo backup pero esta corrupto, al parecer Celsys tiene un email para revivir archivos csp corruptos aunque no prometen nada, lo mandé y si no la rehago 💪🏻

Mirroring what pecu said too of it won't make you a better artist and most of these tools aren't needed for the average person, but if you're looking to take things more seriously, it's worth it. Celsys are one of very few good art software companies left. An eternal license is rare as hell now.

I will probably be forced to ditch Clip Studio Paint, and only use Krita.
Celsys refuses to release CSP on Linux, and i refuse to upgrade to Windows 11.
This will most likely affect the way my art looks, and it will take some time for me to get used to using a new art program.

Celsys doesn't let you export and share your poses from Clip Studio outside of the ASSET store.
However, if you download Pose Studio you can save and export pose (.pep) files easily.
