i'm trying to figure out how steamcmd works because up until now i used zip files to upload my games to steam... past the login terminal i have no idea how to work it.

and naturally the interViolence demo build i made to pre-prep for the demo release doesn't work... (whereas it did in engine)

is it possible to make a game start transition that works like the door transition in this video?

basically, the doors would close over the main menu, and when they open again, the start of the game would appear.

Within seconds of creating a second account, after my first one was shut down just two days after it was created, my account was closed again. This happened despite the fact that I hadn’t posted anything or followed anyone. I was only in the process of adding a profile photo, yet I received an email claiming that my account was “spam” and that it was “causing harm.” What kind of logic is this? The painful truth is that the account was shut down the moment it became clear it was created from inside Gaza. It seems we are no longer allowed to write or speak about what is happening to us here. They are not afraid of content itself, but of our voices and the reality we carry with us. Millions are spent to silence these voices and to erase the truth. I am exhausted by this platform and by how our photos and videos, which document real suffering, are treated as “violations of community standards,” as if pain itself has become a crime. What is happening is not simple moderation or policy enforcement. It is an attempt to erase our existence and bury the truth. And honestly, this is shameful and unbearably painful. cool rpgmaker tip: jump statements! ⤵️
cool rpgmaker tip if you're editing a cutscene and you want to get to a place you need to fix ASAP, use these... (buttons show "label" and "jump to label") ... and do this! event shows text: "skip to scene that needs fixing?" show choices: "Yes, No" when yes: jump to label: errorfix when no: (left blank, so the event continues as normal. text: "this scene does not need fixing." text: "neither does this one." label: errorfix text: "but this one has a lot of errors!" you might need to add a few extra move events if you're working on a sprites-only cutscene, but on the whole this method is way faster than copy-pasting event code for editing. (good to keep a backup for long events, though.) hope this helps!! (trackpad doodle of mado giving a thumbs up.
