Happy Into the Apocalypse Archive release day! If you'd like to see a Pathfinder 2 NPC rendered as a hazard instead of a creature, want an encounter where you debate Lovecraft Horror Peter Thiel, or if you just want to see which extra planes I sent your players to in this adventure, this is the one.

Polar bears are intelligent and will look for ways to keep busy when they have nothing better to do. Gnawing on this dry carcass is exactly that - a mindless way to pass the time while waiting for the bay to freeze. #BearSeason2025 #mammals 🌿

This responds to a profoundly infantile perception of accessibility, where more complex = bad access, when in reality, there's a little thing called neurodivergence, and a myriad of different pathways by which not only we access games, but by which we find *motivation* to delve into them.
I’ve taught a lot of games, and one of the easiest to teach was Pathfinder 2e and one of the hardest to teach was Masks.

This isn’t an indicator of quality necessarily, but more that I think people make a mistake when they assume math = complexity and lack-of-math = intuitive.

We need to start pushing the narrative that if you follow the illegal orders of the American administration they will betray you.

Because like, they demonstrably do that every time.

I don't understand the impetus to "fix" this situation. In my opinion, the players fail, maybe they have to make new characters.

But to be fair, I don't feel bad when my pretend guy gets smashed into a paste.
Ever had a session where the dice just refuse to cooperate? How do you handle those critical failures as a GM?

Even by the standards of anti-woke journalism this is lazy dreck. The first piece of "evidence" that older gamers are mad about wokeness is a random Reddit comment — that isn't a complaint about wokeness.

The only way that generative output can be useful to humanity is if it is completely decoupled from profit incentives.

We need to be using it to fold proteins in simulation and look for early signs of tumours.
