I downgraded from a silver plan to bronze and as a result have had to change every single doctor I see. I spent the last week chasing down one new doc for an urgent refill. One foundation gift could change everything so I can focus on reporting:

one of my pet peeves is people who post about "the MSM stinks" etc but then don't want to be bothered to think about the fact that journalists also need to eat, have health insurance, and even wear shoes.

God these Epstein emails are so gross and depressing. Here’s Harvard literature professor and Poetry in America host Elisa New, who is married to Larry Summers, casually chatting with Epstein about the novels Lolita and My Antonia. 🤮

All these guys hate/hated each other. Here's Epstein telling Michael Wolff how Trump's entire "non-family senior staff" wanted to "take him down" and that "Jared and Ivanka have to go."

Also, no dinner :(

Solidarity to striking Starbucks baristas @sbworkersunited.org

There is no financial reason for Starbucks to stall on a contract. Finalizing it would cost no more than a single day of sales. This is about power, and the bosses are about to find out that workers hold power, too.
Starbucks Workers Tell Bosses: No Contract, No Coffee - The American Prospect
Starbucks baristas didn’t want to go on strike. But after four years of waiting for a contract at any of their hundreds of unionized stores, 12,000 workers at one of the world’s biggest fast-food comp...

🚨BREAKING: Oversight Dems have received new emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate that raise serious questions about Donald Trump and his knowledge of Epstein’s horrific crimes.

Read them for yourself. It’s time to end this cover-up and RELEASE THE FILES.

It is interesting to me that this is the story I've gotten the most angry emails/calls/dms about lately. Apparently it is bad form or something to point out a rule that would allow Senate Dems to change their leadership.
November 12, 2025 at 4:31 PM
It was a zero-response reporting day, the saddest of days, the saddest of spreadsheets.
We asked every Senate Democrat if they would bring such a motion or support it if someone else brought the motion. None of them responded.
But they have the power to do it.

Many are calling for Chuck Schumer's resignation. What hasn't been reported until now is that any Senate Democrat can offer a motion to challenge his leadership position, and it would have to get a vote within 7 days. From @whitneycwimbish.bsky.social:

To believe that Chuck Schumer disliked the deal but let enough of his caucus members vote for it to pass, you'd have to disclaim any knowledge of how politics works.
This is a planted story that puts the best light on a bad situation.
