'The human body is equivalent in mass to 50,000 crickets': In city builder Generation Exile, humanity's last hope for sustenance is cricket mush
What will the last humans subsist on as they escape a dying earth? Bug soup, if Generation Exile is any indication

Current progress on splatteworld: here's the retooled shop screen. Not final, but a big step. Item names are placeholder, but we're limited at ~14 characters max due to how inventory screens are laid out. But it's still a damn sight better than 8. Before and after attached.

Here’s my experience with BLADE: TRINITY
In 2005 I was flown to Australia to host wraparound segments for tv special called The World Comedy Tour. I shot these bits in Sydney then went to Melbourne the next day.

Brendan, buddy, I know it's unfair of me to ask but I'm going to need you to get on that Marvel fitness regime. Start juicing. Have that personal chef make you so much chicken and broccoli. You and Rachel Weisz can heal the world by reaching back through time and attaining Peak Hotness once again

Vagrant Story!! Not just one of the most striking and singular RPGs ever made, but also the Matsuno game most deserving of a UI overhaul to bring out its best qualities. The in-progress decompilation could someday make that possible, even if Square never remasters it itself.
Vagrant Story decompiled: A lone fan is dutifully working towards the remaster Matsuno's masterpiece deserves, one line of code at a time
Plus: An interview with the creator of legendary emulator ZSNES and a healthy dose of patch notes.

Europa Universalis 5 sets a new bar for historical simulation complexity
Even hardened grand strategy veterans may be startled by the complexity of this historical simulation.

With multiple conflicting interviews around Arc Raiders' use of AI, I tried to pick apart what is and isn't "generative," how much that distinction matters ethically, and the tension between today's efficiency tools and tomorrow's eliminated jobs.
Arc Raiders' use of AI highlights the tension and confusion over where machine learning ends and generative AI begins
Embark Studios' contradictory statements about generative AI highlight what's sure to be a long-term industry debate.

This is misleading.
1. The opt-out for creators is channel-wide, not per-video. It's available in YouTube Studio right now.
2. The low-res versions aren't going away. YouTube will automatically generate multiple upscaled copies, but you can still choose to view the 144p/240p versions if you want.

Google has an impressively consistent track record of making all of its products worse over time and we mostly just get used to it. But whoever is responsible for replacing Reverse Image Search with Google Lens should be Human Centipeded for crimes against humanity
