Me: ...

Child, patiently: Think of what you wanted from yellow. Will purple give you that? No.

Grateful as always to Unbreaking for their dedicated tracking and sense making
This brings us to a harsh reality: Most of the administration’s attempts to destroy gender-affirming care have technically failed. Judges have ruled against them and ordered them to be halted. But in practice, they have had their intended effect.

I am still chipping away at raising enough funds to repair or replace my car. Please share if you can. 🌻
So the guy down the street replaced a shift sensor but the car still will not operate in reverse so I need to start raising funds for either someone to assess the transmission in my 20 year old car or to put toward a new car. 😔🫠😩😭

Got my car stuck in the snow and fucked up either the shift connector or the transmission and it’s gonna become a cascade if I can’t raise the funds for the repair.

Just a garbage way of living where everyone can just be crushed to slow death by billionaires.

This is DELIGHTFUL. I am two thirds through and saving the rest for a treat. It’s so loose and so much fun and also the most real questions: do you know your powers?

One of the smartest moves we've seen through this ordeal was the decision of Brown University to cancel classes and exams – everything. To close completely and allow students, faculty and staff to go home until the middle of January.

I think that protected people from even more trauma.

Once again a reminder: We can have trans rights, bodily autonomy, gender nonconformity, and freedom of expression, or we can have none of these things.

There’s no third option.
In addition to this administration trying to kill kids, and they're also coming for our binders? OUR BINDERS.

My dear friend came over and we talked for two hours before I got tired and sometimes I don’t know what I think until I’ve said it to her. I told her how much I am looking forward to letting go of my life here, this ghost shell I can’t shed without leaving.

I could really use some last minute clarification on something if anyone knows a lawyer who knows their way around Medicaid benefits (specifically the working disabled program) 😭 I have a question before my court hearing tomorrow afternoon, none of the public law centers got back to me 🆘

This post has been digging at me all day and I think it’s because this man’s partner has never had and will never have an orgasm half as “robust” or intrepid or determined or joyful as the ones Alice Wong had with her watchband.
Here's Trump judicial nominee Justin Olson today, admitting than in 2015, he gave a sermon in which he said that “marriage was not intended for all people,” including “our handicapped friends or our persons with physical disabilities that might prevent the robust marriage that we’re called to.”

Between this and passing MTG’s evil bill House Dems enabled a truly awful level of preventable damage today.
If Cuellar voted yes and any one of the 4 Democrats who were absent showed up to vote yes, Rep. Jim McGovern's War Powers Resolution to prevent Trump from going to war with Venezuela would have passed.

Have signed a lease in Mpls with the kiddo. It’s good to have a place lined up.

Now to figure out how the stuff gets there (many talented people working on this) and health insurance.

It’s all good, all getting done, and I am screaming endlessly in my heart and need chocolate.

Are we at war yet?

If you use this tactic you don’t hold up the website. You hold up the Communications Act of 1934. The question is not whether your website is lying. It’s whether you have chosen to break the law.
“The FCC is not an independent agency,” its chairman, Brendan Carr, responds to a question from Senator Ben Ray Luján (D-NM) who notes that the commission’s website says it is independent.
