we got his bloodwork back, and it's not looking so good, but it's all inconclusive until we can get him the ultrasound, but the imaging center can't see him until next Friday. 😢

guhhh, cat's biannual check-up revealed he has a growth in his abdomen (they suspect cancer but we're waiting on his bloodwork and he's got a full ultrasound scheduled for next week), meanwhile my co-pay assistance for my specialty medication (the one that keeps my hands working) has run out, AND

I'll add that I happen to be in a position where I am currently making a living off of graphic novel work. It's a split between royalties, advances, and school visits.

I think that comics would be so much healthier if publishers could look forward and invest in our FUTURE.
