Is the ISU YouTube streaming the #GPFigure junior finals in the US? It's not showing in their upcoming live streams yet, but as far as I can tell Peacock is only streaming the senior events.

I love how soap operas become science fiction out of nowhere sometimes. At the end of season 9 of Dallas there's a bomb blast at the Ewing offices and it somehow causes time to rewind a year. Only this time Bobby doesn't die. Only Pam remembers the alternate timeline and she thinks it's a dream.

What is that nightmare fuel on the top left?
🚨 BREAKING: Oversight Dems have received never-before-seen photos and videos of Jeffrey Epstein's private island that are a harrowing look behind Epstein’s closed doors.

See for yourself. We won’t stop fighting until we end this cover-up and deliver justice for the survivors.

It's telling to compare the way the media talks about prices now vs. 2024. Under Biden, high prices were apocalyptic. Under Trump, prices go even higher and it's no big deal. In fact, we should love the high prices. We're stupid not to be grateful for them.
From the newspaper owned by the billionaire who also owns a large supermarket chain and grocery delivery service.

This is what it looks like when billionaires control the media.

I keep hearing this guy is the progressive and non-toxic alternative to the manosphere. But there's nothing progressive about treating asexuality as a bad thing. Or about claiming that women won't have with men unless the men pay for all the dates.

We finally get our headless horseman! Of course, the music would be too mild for even a Disney channel Halloween movie, so I'm not exactly frightened.

I wonder how many unfortunate folks rented this thinking it was the Tim Burton one.
This guy I used to date once rented us the knockoff War of the Worlds.

Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2. Not a good movie. Not a good franchise. But it brought us a truly iconic line.

This image is not on the sites of NYT, WaPo, CNN or even MSNBC. It would be if Biden fell asleep during a press event.
WaPo did have a hit piece on Tim Walz and his crumbling 2028 chances for some reason though. I guess that's who Bezos fears of the potential 2028 candidates.
Trump dozes while Marco Rubio speaks to him directly next to him. Just insane optics.

As usual, right wingers project. They made up conspiracy theories about Tim Walz trying to steal military valor, but it's Patel who's actually doing that. He wants us to get the impression that he's personally tracking down and arresting bad guys when in reality he's flitting around in private jets.
Never noticed this, but it appears Kash Patel is the first FBI director to deviate from the usual coat-and-tie uniform. Other directors have always worn a suit, even in critical moments, such as Robert Mueller meeting with reporters on 9/11.

I legit think stuff like this is being floated with the end goal of deporting Jewish Americans to Israel. The fundamentalists Christians want the end times and they'll use policy to put the pieces in place for it.
Sen. Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, just introduced a bill to ban Americans from holding dual citizenship. The bill says that to “preserve the integrity of national citizenship, allegiance to the United States must be undivided.” It’s called the Exclusive Citizenship Act.

Looks like Dracarys is sick yet again. I don't know if it's the usual uri or something else. She's sneezing and increasingly uninterested in her dry food. She's also peeing outside her litter box.

Do people honestly believe there's some rule that all Democrats will have to use "strong floor, no ceiling" in their campaigns? It's a silly slogan that's not going to take, but I'm not sure it warrants two days of complaing.

I wrote better papers than this in fifth grade. I wasn't even great at writing papers. I was better at tests. If this is representative of her schoolwork, it's an indictment of OU that she even got in.

What's always lost in the discourse about primarying whichever politician is whether or not that's what the constituents want. Do the Democratic voters in Jeffries' district like him? If so, it doesn't make sense to throw resources at a primary challenge. If not, it does make sense.
AOC and Mamdani not backing a primary challenge to Jeffries is fine, actually.

It’s transactional, sure. But Jeffries did ultimately come around and endorse.

IMHO throwing a primary challenge at him now sends a message: Even if you do come around, we may still come after you.
