BRING BACK FORBORT SO I CAN DO IT AGAIN
Harsunder, it is plainly obvious that Linus Karlsson will be our first goal scorer tonight!

This is not something you just sweep under the rug in the name of "the economy" because that's just the very first bits you sweep under the rug. Soon, you are looking the other way on all manners of human rights issues. Including assassination of Canadians orchestrated by foreign governments. 👇
I’m honestly shocked that this story from @globalnews.ca has flown under the radar. Confirmation that Amit Shah, the second-most powerful man in the Indian government, was directly involved in the assassinations on Canadian soil. globalnews.ca/news/1151469...

Would be nice to see a government come in some day and instead of suggesting privitizing more public assets and revenue generators they suggest admitting that was a mistake and take some private agencies back under public control again. Let's start with energy and telecommunications.

If we actually listened to our indigenous peoples, we would be a lot more understanding of the issues that involve them. I'd recommend you follow Robert. He has a lot of wisdom to share through a perspective lens many do not bother considering. He has helped me more fully understand many things.
In the last week another First Nation in BC had 400+km of land returned to them. And no one has talked about it. It's obviously not about land. It's only about hate and fear mongering.

@harsunderhunjan.bsky.social we miss you, please give us a thumbs up!

For this games first goal given Forborts continued absence and the relatively unlikely opposite team own goal situation, I am going with P.O. Joseph!

The only way this budget could be more Conservative Party of Canada coded is if they banned gay people in it somehow.
November 4, 2025 at 9:52 PM
Well that is a terrible and depressing budget. Anyone got a running counter on things Carney said during the election that are now bold faced lies? Would be nice if we could vote on this. Not holding my breath.

It's a bad sign in my engagement levels of the Evander Kane era Canucks when I just realized that they're playing a game right now. Anyway, no Forbort, means first goal of the game is an OWN GOAL by Nashville! @harsunderhunjan.bsky.social

This is who owns the Blue Jays. Rogers is, like all giant corporations, a sociopath.

Most of the players aren't Canadian, and the team is owned by a giant company that recently made 100s of employees become contract workers to keep their jobs, and then fired them anyway. Why exactly, as a Canadian, am I supposed to feel anything for the entity that is the Blue Jays? I don't get it.

I think sports teams should always be owned by the municipalities they play in, rather than by billionaires & corporations who take advantage of local pride while basically acting as parasites.

I'd care if a team owned by a Canadian city had lost. I just don't care that a team owned by Rogers lost.

I am a world class Toronto hater including the Jays. That one felt like finally Toronto was gonna come through though. HOWEVER. A world class choke job that might eclipse any in Toronto sports history. I am sad for my friends who are sad but the legend of Toronto being losers continues unabated.

@harsunderhunjan.bsky.social I forgot to register my first goal of the game pick. Unsurprisingly, I am calling an OWN GOAL BY MINNESOTA.

Going to watch Hereditary for the first time. I know not much about it. I have a particular sensitivity to atrocities against children so I am hoping it avoids that. But also I'm hoping I still have the nerves to get through it lol. Wish me luck.

I am generally very pro-Halloween. I love the classic Universal monsters, used to take an annual trek to Universal Studios Hollywood for their Halloween Horror Nights, and love the 80s/90s movies. Current movies are hit or miss; but I've never gotten into is American Horror Story. Too bizarro.

Appears the Canucks will be without 8 injured players next game (not counting Brisebois and Woo).

"Is that the highest number of any team within the first 12 games of a season in the NHLInjuryViz era (since 00/01)?" I hear you say.

8 has been done 5 times but 9 has been hit once.

Details below...
