if you use software to lock down hardware repairs to make sure you are only able to sell replacement parts then it should be legal for a random dude to not only crack your protection but release and even profit from it without any legal consequence whatsoever

So it seems that HDR is broken in yet another UE5 games. Devs are dropping the ball and Epic has a real problem here. HDR generally never works right in UE5 games and it needs addressing. OLED TVs are hugely popular - most displays do HDR these days.
The state of HDR in the game industry right now is catastrophic.
Silent Hill F, AAA game, shipped w/out color grading in HDR, on top of the raised blacks that come with all UE HDR games
It doesn't look as it's supposed to in HDR, atmospehre is completely gone, devs either didn't know or care for it

For me, the worst thing is people believing the only thing we do is talk about frame-rates. I’ve spent so much time crafting multi-hour love letters to classic games and showcasing what makes modern games tick and yet posts like this ignore all that and focus on this one tiny aspect. :-(
