Seven years! Time flies when you're having fun, and it's been an honour and a privilege to be part of the Digital Foundry team - a collection of people with so much insight and experience, but also heaping helpings of comradery, humour and passion.
Oh, so you got 1st place in BF6 battle royale? That's cool I guess
It would explain a lot! Meanwhile...
Trying to check my Game Pass subscription online and it's like. Am I cursed?
Also, why does it say I have an Ultimate subscription in the top left, then also that I need to "Join Ultimate" when I look at a particular game? Every time I use the Xbox app I discover more shenanigans man
Yo why does the Xbox app have game achievements in Chinese and literally everything else in English
This is the cutest car I've ever seen - and it looks like it's coming to the UK!

Yeah, that's a good point! The DK2 is 2KRO I believe, which is not definitely not great for most genres.
Nice, that's a good-looking setup!
Ich verstehe Deutsch nicht, aber ich verstehe deine Post haha
Here's how the actual Das Keyboard looked. So cool.
The coolest thing about the Das Keyboard was that it had, by default, completely blank keycaps. I thought this was such a flex back then, and clearly I wasn't alone as I found a DIY solution from 2006 to achieve a similar look - with a Dremel. www.instructables.com/Quick-and-Di...

I love keyboards, so was happy to see Reece do a retrospective on one of the first "mainstream" mechanicals, the Das Keyboard 2 from 2006. I dreamed of having this keyboard back in the day, having seen it in magazines, and it still holds up two decades later!

I've tested hundreds of keyboards and the 20-year-old classic Das Keyboard has held up better than any - how do modern ones compare?
Reece takes a look at the twenty-year-old Das Keyboard II and sees how it compares to a darling of the modern mechanical keyboard hobby - how far have we come?

Hi neighbour cat, it's nice that you come to check in on us
Yeah! I don't have much range but I'll be making an apple crumble tomorrow
Today's bake: chocolate chip banana muffins 🧁
Haha living dangerously! This plus rice is luxury though
Today's breakfast: steamed egg!

Really simple to make: just whisk two eggs and some salt, add 200ml of warm (half/half tap/boiling water), then steam (using a bowl in a saucepan with water in the bottom) for 10-15 minutes. Cut lines, add a bit of soy sauce and sesame oil, and enjoy.
If the internet seems a bit rubbish today, it's because AWS is having issues and a ton of stuff relies on it
Did a work bubble tea class last night! Cool to learn that it's not too tricky to make at home :)
Another beautifully shot, convivially explained and just fascinating video on sound and stereos from Posy
