as far as i know there are no new public statements: this is just my personal opinion from working with them and talking one to one/spending time working together (you can of course check my backlog on social media and you will see i am not one to cozy up to fascists myself so i would have noticed)

i am mostly doing this for myself: i believe in their mission and want to help them out but of course if going forward even though this huge controversy just happened i see a blatant disregard for all of this/new or continued support to bigots i will obviously reconsider my choices...

i only personally learned about it when someone asked my why i was running omarchy and i was completely blown away by the whole thing (mainly because i kinda assumed than in the span of a few months i would have seen people talking about this on my feed)

yeah, that makes sense, i am trying to idk do my best to somewhat help with this if that makes sense, it's not my responsibility to do so (nor i was asked or paid by them to do it) but trying to make sure they get why people are angry is key and i rly hope it can make things better in the future

to be transparent: i am a contractor that worked/works with them on youtube videos (i made their 16 announcement video)

every interaction i had with them has been wonderful and i am not a centrist or anything like that, i am pretty openly progressive, and they did not give me any weird vibes at all

situation that is hard for any decently sized company to get out of and now have to do their best to set things straight without putting the livelihood of many employees at stake, which might suck from an external“taking sides” point of view but is also how this stuff goes in our system :(
