I have had to claim UC again recently during a period of ill health. They've been monstrous to deal with. It has felt they have actively done anything they can to make applying as difficult as possible.

Assuming I survive, I have a fire in belly and a lot of receipts. Fuck that system.

The regime wants to gut the law that allows women to get loans and mortgages without needing a male co signor.

This can’t be allowed to happen.

Without financial freedom, women become trapped with their fathers & husbands.

They become property again.

I've been blocked from seeing my kids again this weekend. My ex is probably a psychopath (i know it is a term that is overused but not this in this case, imo)

Please. It you can help me access christmas with my children, I will repay as soon as i can, either back personally or pay it forward.
Thanks so much for the shares and donations.

I've had a quiet and peaceful weekend with my kids. I really love this painting by my daughter, inspired by the show Uncanny. I only have a WIP from my son's Ender dragon drawing but i'll get a photo of the finished piece tomorrow because it is amazing!

im starting a rumor that pantone has beef with an ink company and that's why they did this

This is the first time Pantone has chosen a shade of white. The company says it's "a lofty white that serves as a symbol of calming influence in a society rediscovering the value of quiet reflection." n.pr/4rDF0jv

Also known as and related to water horses and backahast - one of my favourite mythological creatures. If you choose to ride a kelpie, I hope you're good at holding your breath.

Wow - this guy must be really, REALLY bad with money if an extra £208 per month will “ruin” his retirement.

Let’s take a look at his situation based on what he told the @Telegraph

Because this does NOT add up!

No, this is not a “poor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…

I haven't stopped working for weeks. I'm learning to juggle my work with my health conditions but I will not begin to see much income until after Christmas.

I'm escaping domestic abuse which has left me in very restricted conditions. More of my journey is here www.gofundme.com/f/help-a-mum...

You are not "failing" if a recovery tool many people find useful doesn't seem to work for you. Everybody's nervous system, trauma, & recovery needs are unique. Don't get in your head about how your recovery contrasts to others-- just focus on YOUR next recovery supporting choice.

Your faithfully, A Dog
Fun fact: your dogs can’t read the calendar and you can tell them tomorrow is Thanksgiving too. You can give them turkey every day and they’ll never know you’re fibbing.

After testing toys powered by AI, researchers found that the playthings can easily verge into risky conversational territory for children, including telling them where to find knives in a kitchen and how to start a fire with matches.

Merry Christmas children!

But my children deserve some sort of Christmas experience with their mother. Please consider helping us. These four gifts on my list that are reduced dramatically would be fantastic gifts for my kids. I cannot afford to get them, even at their reduced cost. They will be up in price again soon.

One of the perhaps lesser-known DWP/Job Centre balancing acts: wear enough makeup to show you are taking this seriously by ‘making an effort’, but not so much that it makes us question how sick/disabled you are (yes, I got docked assessment points for this when I was but a fledgling benefits bitch)

I honestly feel us vulnerables need some sort of a buddy system so we aren't left alone with NHS staff. This is despicable.
I got a gallbladder removal done on the NHS yesterday, which they made me wait YEARS for as the problem got worse and worse, I fell underweight and had to have the most restrictive diet, ENORMOUS/regular pain and it eventually went infected. I feel like this wait stole a part of my life 🥺 /1

Another awful experience with the NHS here. At such a vulnerable time... Wtf is it with classist, ableist health 'care' staff?
How I was treated by the nurses was appalling. Gently mocked for showing clear signs of fatigue and treated like I was choosing to doss about in the hospital bed after a general anaesthetic and surgical removal for fun. I was bullied by a nurse which pressured me to leave whilst I was pre-nausea /3
