Lastly, I need to get my kids as far away from this repulsive oppressive bullshit as I can. I have to be noisy even when I dont want to be.

Thankfully, I have some privileges on my side. One being that I barely drink, because when I do I binge. I'm aware of how my family used alcohol as a coping mechanism & were systemically & societally blamed for their miserable existences. I'm triggered by this blame, so I mostly avoid drink.

He never had a chance of appealing, the system designed to make that too difficult for a disabled alcoholic. He died malnourished, 30yo. He begged them to help him.

I used to think it was the tories (a victim of austerity.) Now I experience Labour actively pushing me into the same places.

I cleared out my brothers insect-infested room after he died in a squalid little bedsit. I discovered endless shopping lists, food he wished he could eat, & letters he scrawled in reply to the job centre's cold & callous letters where they had deemed him a liar and announced his benefits were gone.

I know you cannot use the phone but I know a couple here who will make calls for you. Domestic abuse helplines and as mentioned previously the local council, did you ever manage to email them?

I haven't stopped working for weeks. I'm learning to juggle my work with my health conditions but I will not begin to see much income until after Christmas.
