"Space: Above and Beyond" was unfairly slagged in its day for being "Melrose Space," but it was a damn good show.
Now I want to rewatch Space: Above and Beyond.

Additional side note: If any game needs *nothing* but a graphics update, it's Wing Commander. Don't update the story, don't add nine zillion detailed settings for nerds who read 50-page manuals, just update the graphics and let me go blow up arrogant Kilrathi princes
On a side note, I think classic BSG was named as an influence on the first Wing Commander game, especially for the launch sequences.

Just started “Death by Lightning.”

If you haven’t already discovered Stephen Sondheim’s musical “Assassins,” find it.

It’s SO good.

I'm reminding all eligible DoorDash delivery workers to file a claim now to get their money back before the deadline on December 31, 2025.

It lived up to my expectations! I don’t mind saying, this is the future I want to see…what I’ve always wanted. So many years I did not vote because I felt I had no voice and my life would never change. I hope to see more like this 🤞🙏

Mike Johnson suffers from a sensory deprivation condition common among Republicans: He can't see or hear anything inconvenient.
RAJU: If defenseless survivors were killed, would that constitute a violation of the laws of war?

MIKE JOHNSON: I'm not going to prejudge any of that. I was pretty busy yesterday. I didn't follow a lot of the news.

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

Do I understand correctly that there is now a dispute within the administration about whether this "peace plan" was written by Russians or Americans?
November 23, 2025 at 2:42 AM
Even RUSSIA doesn’t like FOTUS’ plan.
NEW: Russian officials and state media continue to set information conditions to reject the US-proposed 28-point peace plan, indicating that the Kremlin is actively conditioning the Russian people to not accept anything less than a full victory in Ukraine. 🧵(1/8)

My heart bleeds for my home state.
Brevard County is probably the most Florida county in the state due, in part, to their sheriff who loves a camera almost as much as he loves Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump.

There is no way that I could live in a place with Bubbas like these roaming the streets and enforcing the law.

This seems huge, and deserves more attention.

SCOTUS has gone out of its way to make it harder to sue Fed law enforcement for damages when they trample—sometimes literally—on your rights.

Illinois just made it so their resident can sue the Feds in state court.

Feds fail us, states step up.
The Illinois legislature had passed the “Illinois Bivens Act,” allowing people to sue ICE agents in state court. Just waiting for Pritzker’s signature.
