The U.S. Coast Guard made "the largest USCG Small boat station cocaine seizure since 1995" off of Miami Beach on Tuesday and seized 3,500 pounds of cocaine worth about $28 million.

The USCG was conducting a routine safety check of the 65-foot sports fishing vessel at the time.
