Seven of the eight Ivy League schools are banned from the DOD program. Only my alma mater, Dartmouth College, remains eligible. I suspect it is because Dartmouth hired a hard core MAGA as its general counsel.

I wish we were one of the banned.
Hegseth to US military: if you get into MIT, we won't let you attend because of the risk that you will be exposed to ideas hostile to MAGA when you study there.

If your “pet-friendly” hotel doesn’t allow cats, it’s not pet-friendly. It’s dog-friendly.

And you need to say that.

So, if you’re clever… it might be worth revisiting the codenames with the newest spec map.

Because locations on the spec map may not be reality.

Enjoy.
Geesh… we have #HHN permits and codenames already? Fine.

While I traditionally don’t put much stock in the code names, last name had close enough connections that a number of houses could be in the ballpark. So, in the interest of content… let’s share my (marginally informed) thoughts.

Some all time masterpieces (Animaniacs! Tiny Toon Adventures! All the Scoobs! All the Batmans!). Some forgotten gems (Fosters Home…! Beetlejuice! The Mask!). Friggin’ Taz-Mania!!!

I’m never turning off Tubi with this lineup!
In cartoon news, Tubi just revealed practically the entirety of the classic Warner Bros/Hanna-Barbera/Cartoon Network library is coming to the platform this March.

For those who don't wanna visit the bird site, here's the full list of what's coming.

It’s Friday the 13th. And the night before Valentine’s Day.

A #HHN clue feels appropriate.

“Butch and Malia. Cassandra and Joel.
Names you recognize but may not know
Inspire, terrify your beloved glow
As you watch an original show.”

You may laugh, but the Macbeths are a much better role model for a marriage than Romeo and Juliet. They discuss their problems (killing the king of Scotland), share their hobbies (killing the king of Scotland), and resolve their conflicts (by killing the king of Scotland).

Kim sent me this yesterday.

I jokingly asked her why he was writing about me.

Other than high school music, everything I've done in my adult life has been self taught. And I didn't use my note reading & clarinet skills at all in my recording & performance career.
Self-taught people often don't realize it, but psychology says the way they solve problems is fundamentally different from most people
While you might think self-taught learners simply lack formal training, research reveals they've actually developed an entirely different cognitive operating system that makes them approach challenges...

A genuinely alarming piece in the NYT about how the developers, scientists and assorted techbros behind "AI companions"/"synthetic care" do not even know or understand the potential harms of the tech they're developing but they're too greedy to stop themselves from developing it.

My goal is to fill the starter pack, so please send over suggestions with supporting evidence!

He auctioned off his Dawson’s Creek memorabilia.

Costars started doing cameos to raise money for his.

A serious diagnosis can financially destroy you in the US.
