Great guy. All he spoke about was getting NCOs back to mastering individual and crew skills, preparing 1SGs and CSMs to one day replace him, and how being a garrison CSM helped him focus on QOL challenges

Ran into CSM Petty, the 4ID CSM. Served together in 1-21 IN in Iraq back in 2010-11. He was a 19K who went to Ranger School after being a PSG w/multiple deployments. Always respected that.

She flew him out from Riley to Carson. She was driving somewhere, told him a joke, he didn't laugh. She slammed on the brakes and began to cuss him out. Again, you could not waterboard this information out of me!

Taught a MAJ recently who several months in the course said he felt compelled to tell me that he followed me on Twitter and had dated her few years back. Surprisingly, he ghosted her after a few incidents of her flying off the handle at completely benign shit. Still, I question his judgment

Thought the suit I planned to wear to AUSA tomorrow was dry-cleaned. Found it wrinkled in my closet. Thought about grabbing another suit but remembered army Os have no idea how to dress and if they didn't have to wear AGSUs would be in khaki shorts and unit polo. Busted out the steamer. 🫡

Has been growing for sometime now. My alma mater (LSU) has won 2/last 3 college World Series. Couple pitchers in last few yrs limited there but currently in big leagues: Grant Taylor, Cole Henry. Chase Shores was high draft pick this year. Sat out previous after TJ. Was hitting 100+ in Omaha

Instructors at our gym said there has been a drastic decrease in # kids enrolled in classes and programs. Salon we’ve gone to for 8 yrs is struggling because people are putting off extra expenses.

Drove past a food pantry distribution at a church in my neighborhood today and there was a very long line. It’s a relatively wealthy neighborhood but the federal layoffs have hit it hard and many who still have jobs just got their first short LES. Next one will be zero.
