Unlike you, I can read and that’s why I know what the constitution says.
Trump on Ilhan Omar: "I look at somebody who comes from Somalia...and she comes in and tells us how to run our country. 'The Constitution says this, the Constitution says that.' The whole thing is crazy."

I can't stress this enough as a super volunteer for the Democratic Party and Democratic candidates. This should prompt you to get MORE involved, not less. Show up and use the existing infrastructure to make it work for all of us. In my neck of the woods, we've seen a ton of local victories this way.
Right, the answer isn't to abandon the party to these weasels.
The answer is to flood the party with people who will take it over and transform it.

Hey, a lot of people are talking about changing affiliation from Democratic to Independent.
Let me tell you why you shouldn’t do that in Colorado.
One of the main ways to get a primary challenge candidate on a ballot is to caucus for your party. You need to be registered as a Dem to caucus.

We need courageous leaders that put working families at the center of all they do.
8 democrats caving to empty promises is an indefensible leadership failure
For the sake of our country, Schumer needs to resign.

Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis
For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare
We will keep fighting

My concern is that if his starting point for negotiations is "less than the minimum" that means we get even less than that in the ultimate deal to reopen

This is a completely deranged take. Just utterly divorced from any semblance of understanding.
I'm less interested in who gets blame, which seems like the only thing guys like Schumer care about right now. I care about the meat of the negotiations and where they start:

I think there's a lot of takes running around right now that are profoundly silly in the face of what just happened on Tuesday and the people who are doing them are also the people who were smugly proclaiming that dems were doomed because they weren't following their strategy for electoral dominance

Now Democrats get another round of news stories about how Republicans refuse to negotiate and are making everything worse, *and* can now safely retreat to better asks.
An unmitigated win.
But you're still mad.

Healthcare is absolutely the best issue Dems have and they should run on it everywhere and weaponize it against the GOP with extreme joy.
