One of the problem with the sentiments of going underground is like, yeah some people might but most people wont. Most of the people you follow online who create the NSFW content you enjoy, be it drawing or writing or photography, are barely getting by as it is if they do it full time.

my hot take is that having watched both the movie version of Fritz the Cat, and having read the original comic, Ralph Bakshi was (and still is) way more based than Crumb.

Look just remember that the whole point of all of this, of getting you to buy into self-loathing morality is part of the panopticon, the self-policing prison. You have a moral obligation to find and protect sources of joy on your terms outside of their direct control. It is a revolutionary act.
