Just finished an anime where the main villain looked like this from the side.

(Sourced from the anime, Eto Ranger)

I noticed in one particular episode of Eto Ranger, Bakumaru (the mouse) was focusing a lot of his attention on a certain part of Pochiro (the dog) while giving him an after-mission massage... 😏

Extend this policy to 'just asking questions' shitlibs and randos in general imo. Either its a no-life or a bot on the other end; regardless, don't waste your time .
Block fascists. There's no reasoning or arguing with them, you might as well debate with spoiled leftovers. Don't let them bait you. Block fast, block often, block fascists. Let their accounts mummify.

Also remember that by sharing their posts even if it is to criticize them you are helping them to grow and get traction.
PSA: there's a blocklist for all the US govt accounts that joined Bsky today. Do not let the network state and surveillance fascists invade your space or peace of mind.

As part of a bet with @redvelvetbat.bsky.social, I agreed to draw mutual studies of Jay Leno, and I give you The Two Genders of Jay Leno; Midwestern Mom and slightly melted David Lynch.

Also, the current run of government-run accounts pushing partisan positions is literally illegal. Hatch Act.

Bluesky is currently hosting gross violations of federal law, and it's not the porn.

Yes I am reporting them and if I'm banned tomorrow, that's probably why.

It’s a very strange, but very intentional moment, that I can’t disagree with the reality that many people are like that. It’s difficult to deny that your average Joe isn’t a caveman-brained dolt that legitimately feels that “might makes right,” and admires champions of boorishness.

And Captain Kirk does the whole, “Oh Spock, it’s a human thing, you don’t get it, but the audience does!” About how humans are kind of fucked up and inherently barbaric. He posits it’s kind of normal to look back at the actions of despot with a LITTLE admiration, it’s KINDA cool… right?

There’s a part in the Kahn episode of Star Trek where Kirk and his human pals kind of revel in what an absolute tyrant Kahn was back in the day, after learning what a bastard he still was.

And Spock’s like, “what the fuck is wrong with you guys, he was a monster!”

Tired: Super Mario Bros. 2 was called Doki Doki Panic in Japan.

Inspired: The Adventures of Bayou Billy was called Mad City in Japan but the katakana could be misread as "Mad Shitty."

Feels like this will be a useful meme for the next few years
I should note that one of my biggest pet peeves in modern retro games is the desire to over-design them. I do not play a game that looks like an 8-bit Megaman knockoff or an homage to Streets of Rage because I have a desire to learn intricate RPG-like leveling systems and fishing minigames.
Earthion is the rare example of a modern faux-retro game that doesn't feel absurdly overbaked and overdesigned. It feels like an actual example of what an actual Genesis game would have felt like in 1998... if the devs hadn't been on a bunch of crushing time and hardware constraints.

I need to do a lot of pruning of what I see on here. I don't ever need to know what a guy named Thomas Chatterton Williams is up to. Thomas Friedman op-eds -- never need to hear about those. What I need to see a lot more of is photos of Elvira or Peewee Herman with surprising celebrities
