Because Black people know that there is no such thing as “identification” or “identifying yourself”. They aren’t saying Padilla didn’t identify himself as a U.S. Senator. They are saying that there is only one acceptable identity — credential — being white and, in these times, being pro-Trump.

Anytime Trump says some bullshit I see a fair amount of despondent comments like "And like a third of the country will believe him" which is true but I think you just have to get past that. Like a third of the country believes in ghosts too, we don't need total consensus to win

Trump on China: "They made a trillion dollars with Biden selling us stuff. Much of it we don't need. Somebody said, 'oh, the shelves are gonna be open.' Well, maybe the children will have two dolls instead of 30 dolls, and maybe the two dolls will cost a couple of bucks more."

A reminder that if senate Republicans wanted to end the tariff issue they could do so whenever they choose.
Later today the Senate will vote on my bipartisan legislation to end Trump’s tariffs. This has a real chance of passing. I encourage everyone to make your voices heard with your Senators if you feel strongly about this issue. I’ll be working to get it across the finish line. More soon.
