Unpopular opinion, but I wish more folks dreamed in wider, more radical ways about the future. I read a lot of leftists expressing sentiments like “these people need to be locked away and punished forever.” I get the sentiment, and: that would be rebuilding the systems that got us here.

If the rule becomes “this person has advantages and makes me feel uncomfortable and unsafe” for sports exclusion—the line between trans women and POC, especially black, women is very, very thin.
Luckily, white women have never weaponized their safety in service of racism so unlikely to happen.
