Funny how the chip manufacturers are making 4x the profits now. A made up price to address a made up problem...

semi-regular reminder that ICE was only created in 2003

when you are asked to imagine a world without ICE, you're basically being asked to remember where you were when Lilo & Stitch came out

For anyone who wants better search without AI slop and advertising garbage overtaking your results, Kagi is there. You aren't the product, relevant results are.
"Search advertising continues to be the largest form of internet advertising. Search revenue grew nearly 16% year on year."

$103B in search ad revenue (in U.S alone!) means results are ranked by who pays most, not what's most relevant.

This is the model Kagi Search rejects.

If you can, please consider donating to their GoFundMe. The money is going to union members this holiday so they can buy groceries and pay rent while they fight for a fair contract.

If MiUSA means anything at all, it must mean good paying jobs for workers.

They're already spying on you at the airports, anyways. This only really means their rationale for the security theater at airports after 9/11 is bullshit... "a terrorist could never have $45 to get around the Real ID checks upon entering!"
Better to spy on you

Monkeypod Mai Tai. The lilikoi foam is delightful and the slice of Maui Gold pineapple is a nice snack -- and I always enjoy a nice snack with my beverages.

And we knew this. This wasn't speculation. We studied it, we had the talking points. We trained volunteers to explain this to people. It's not a surprise. Rich people don't flee places with good quality of life when we increase the quality of life. They might try to cheat us, but they don't leave.
NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

Also my brain: "I don't know, did you?"
My brain: "I think so. You said something like 'this is for allergies, this is to sleep better...'"
Also my brain: "Are you sure? Was that tonight?"
Me: "shut up and go to sleep..."

The "real America" that politicians are so in love with is an anarcho-capitalist hellscape that extracts the wealth as efficiently as possible from the poor and middle-class, and distributes it to their wealthy benefactors/party owners. I think it's a bad thing and it should be acknowledged.
