I wish you could filter out the low quality crap on social media networks. Currently Bluesky has the best ratio of quality/crap but it’s about the third or fourth network I’ve moved my dopamine chasing too and I’m fully aware that this will fall too.

My son is on blockers legally from before the ban and we did everything they told us to do and now we are being threatened with social services if we don't allow them to "safely withdraw" medication. They admit that the impact will be "stark" for our kids but they are going to do it anyway.

If you deport someone - for whatever reason, giving them £500 to get on their feet when they land is just humane (especially when it’s a small proportion of the costs to deport them).

Has anyone questioned the funding model for Paw Patrol? All those gadgets and expense for generally minor incidents can’t be government funded. Adventure Bay can’t have anywhere near enough of a tax base to fund a tower that big.

Why can’t someone come up with something to replace all Atlassian’s crap that is actually useful and therefore rightfully kicks Atlassian into touch? I can’t find anything in Confluence. Jira is just full of useless fields and controls. And it’s all so slow.
