Uncomfortably aggressive.
“I’m sort of like Costco. I’m big, I’m not fancy, and I dare you to not like me.”
A lot of people (rightly) crap on Cris Collinsworth, but I don’t think enough people acknowledge how much Tirico sucks. Huge downgrade from Al Michaels.

I think the biggest takeaways from this game should be:

1: Seattle was consistently the best team in football from start to finish this year.

2: The AFC is dogshit. A lot of people saying the Pats don’t belong here, but would Buffalo, Houston, San Diego, or Denver have done better?

Are the refs waiting until one of Seattle’s DB’s stab someone before they call a penalty?

Offense has just an embarrassment tonight. Picked a bad time to repeat the way they played against the Raiders.

Spend every draft pick on o-linemen, please.

Fuckin’ turnstile brigade at work tonight.

Feels like this second half is gonna get ugly…

I was hoping Vrabel & Maye could do something Bill & Brady never did and score a TD in the first quarter of a Super Bowl but alas…

Just hang in there long enough cuz Darnold seems determined to throw us one. (Or two.)

I haven’t watched pre or postgame analysis shows in years. The last Super Bowl pregame I actually watched was the second Eagles SB. The only difference I see today is that we’ve subbed out the nerdy “fantasy guru” segments in exchange for the generic conventionally attractive “betting expert.”

Imagine being big enough to make Aroldis Chapman look small in comparison.

These men and the rest of us are the same species?
The ace and the closer.

The Epstein emails should really end the debate over whether society should have billionaires. "Do you want there to be a class of people so powerful they can fuck your kids and no one will even try to do anything" seems like an easy sell if everyone in politics wasn't trying to get on their payroll

Race as a construct is so powerful that only now are many people saying ‘they are killing us’.

They have been killing us. We have all been us the whole time.

Pats are gonna have their hands full regardless of who wins this game.

At least Drake and the offense will get to play in a game without snow for the first time in a month.

Talk about the wind more, CBS.

There is *no* functioning Dem leadership at this point. Jeffries and Schumer need to go NOW if our nation is to have any chance.

It also made me remember why I stopped watching ESPN & any pre or postgame. Seriously, watching JUST the game is such a better experience as a fan.

Just watch the game and get back to your life after. None of these people know shit anyway.
Y’know, over the past few weeks I started following some of the national NFL voices that I used to follow over on the other app.

And the last two weeks, reading as they commented along with the Pats game made me realize why I unfollowed the first time.

Everyone complaining about the schedule and officiating.

ESPN “experts” unanimously picking against them.

And now opposing coaches mismanaging timeouts and making indefensible decisions in playoff games?

The Patriots really are back, aren’t they?

Did someone coat all the footballs in grease before the game?

Saw it written somewhere a little while ago and I agree: whoever comes out of the AFC is probably getting absolutely throttled in the Super Bowl between Stroud & Maye’s turnover fest and Bo Nix’s broken ankle.

One hell of an effort by the Pats’ defense. But man, the Chargers offense is poo poo. I feel bad for Herbert but he didn’t help the choker narrative.

Also, shout out Drake for his second half. I’m fully in house money mode for the Pats. Anything from here on out is gravy this year.

It’s nice to see that with Patrick Mahomes out of the playoffs, Jim Nantz has reallocated his ball washing skills to Josh Allen.
